Yvette Pijpers

Business Development Manager

I have been working at the company for one year as a Business Development Manager. My background is in Human Resource Management and Retail Management, which both help me in my current role. My HRM experience allows me to understand how to motivate, develop, and retain employees, while my knowledge of retail management and sales experience helps me achieve commercial goals, work in a customer-oriented way, and manage operational processes efficiently.

Choosing just one unique travel destination is impossible, as I have been fortunate to make so many incredible trips. Instead, I have a top three:South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana – I made this trip with a friend, working in a township for a few days and sleeping in a tent throughout the journey. Being so close to nature was an unforgettable experience, and the scent of Africa is something truly special. Finnish Lapland – I love snow, and this trip was a dream come true. From husky tours to snowmobiling, every moment was magical. The highlight? Witnessing the Northern Lights for the first time.
Horseback riding in Morocco – Exploring Morocco on horseback was an incredible way to see the country. The stunning landscapes, delicious food, and warm-hearted people made it an unforgettable adventure.

“Collect moments, not things, because the best souvenirs are the memories you make.”

A small but meaningful victory for me was winning my first assignment. It felt like a great achievement and a confirmation that I was on the right track.
One of the challenges I face in my role is my strong desire to have everything arranged quickly and perfectly. However, this is not always possible, so I am learning to be more patient. The coaching I receive at work helps me manage this better.

Colleagues would describe me as open, friendly, and driven. Something they may not know about me is that I love organizing events and outings—I truly enjoy bringing people together and creating memorable experiences.
If I could learn one thing unrelated to work, it would be playing an instrument, particularly the saxophone.
