Bauke Boogers

Global Account Director for the Marriott account, part of the House of Netix Management team and proud partner of the party committee ;-)

I have been with the company since November 1998, and my background in Tourism and Entrepreneurial Education has shaped both my passion for the travel industry and my strategic approach to business.

Exploring Panama was an unforgettable adventure—the breathtaking nature, incredible rainforest hikes, stunning beaches, and warm, welcoming locals made it truly special. Another journey close to my heart was traveling down the Amalfi Coast, including a few days on Capri. I love the Italian lifestyle, and for me, the Amalfi Coast has it all. When winter arrives, you’ll find me carving through the slopes in Austria or France, and no matter the season, I’m always up for a city trip anywhere in the world!

“Live, laugh, and travel the world to never regret what you didn’t do.”

The travel industry is constantly evolving, offering new challenges and opportunities every day. Leisure travelers seek adventure and surprises, while business travelers rely on efficiency and service they can trust. It’s an industry built on relationships—where suppliers become partners and clients turn into friends.

Running corporate hotel RFPs is an intricate and labor-intensive process. As the bridge between hotels and clients, I navigate the challenge of securing the best possible rates without pushing hotels beyond their strategies. And while Marriott continues to sign with us year after year, we never take this for granted—our goal is to exceed expectations every time.

After celebrating 25 years with the company in 2023, the past year has given me new insights, valuable lessons, and opportunities for personal growth. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found my dream job—one that still excites and inspires me after all these years.

My colleagues often describe me as a motivational mentor with a proactive, go-getter mindset. I’m an open book—if you think you don’t know me well enough, just invite me for a glass of wine, and you’ll find out!
